9-18 months in advance is ideal for your specialists to secure the best rates, ensure availability for your group and desired wedding date, and to allow time for guests to financially prepare to join. 

This will depend on your wedding extras, but the average cost for our couples is under $10,000.  This includes that couple's air/hotel package and the wedding package.  The average cost of a honeymoon alone is $5,000.  When you bring a group, you will earn credits that help you pay for your wedding or travel which helps make a destination wedding more affordable than a traditional wedding.

Every country has different legal requirements for weddings. Our destination wedding specialists are happy to help you work through the legalities, as we have extensive knowledge of the requirements in the different destinations.

The average number of guests at a destination wedding is 40 (about 70%-80% of your anticipated guest list).

By booking 9-18 months in advance, you and your guests can make a small deposit to book and then make payments as they would like all the way up until the final payment is due (75 days before the trip typically).  We also offer financing options.

Most of the time, the resorts have these items built into your wedding package.  If not, you can either obtain a list of preferred vendors from the resort or find outside vendors to come on property for your big day.  If hiring outside vendors, you can expect to be charged an outside vendor fee for each outside vendor.  

The further in advance that you plan, the cheaper it typically is to negotiate contracts.  The further in advance you give guests to book, the cheaper it typically is for them as well because lower room categories are still available and lower fare class codes for airfare are still available.  This also gives you and your guests more time to make payments.

All-inclusive resorts is the best way for you and guests to know exactly what the total trip will cost and will have all food, beverages, and entertainment included.  No need to spend another dime!  If a tight budget, Mexico, Dominican Republic, & then Jamaica are the least expensive options.  Everywhere else WILL be more

Unless there is a specific sentimental day you'd like to get married, everyday on vacation is a Saturday.  Sometimes mid-week wedding packages cost less.

With a traditional wedding, flowers and decor are necessary to make your event unique.  At a destination wedding, the destination is the decor.  We'd suggest spending your money on experience enhancements that you and guests will feel and remember instead of the traditional flowers/decor.

Unless there is a particular flower you MUST have, choose the local flowers, cuisine, etc to avoid the extra cost it requires to import 

Yes, it will cost you to travel to the destination ahead of time (at a discounted rate usually), but it could help you save in the long run by tasting the food menu, cake tasting, etc.  Maybe you think you want the Lobster plated meal, but after having tried the Mexican buffet, you will opt for that.
