This resort doesn't do just one wedding vibe. You get a stretch of white sand on Playa Conchal for the ceremony, an open lawn strung with lights for the reception, an indoor ballroom for when you want the AC, and a beach club built for the after-party. Here's what each space actually looks like.
The beach
Ceremonies happen right on Playa Conchal, with wood folding chairs set in the sand and the Pacific as your backdrop. It's simple: an arch, some greenery, water on both sides.
The Lawn & Prefunction
For receptions, the lawn turns into an open-air party once the sun goes down. String lights overhead, woven cabana structures scattered around for shade and texture, long farm tables or round ones, your call. This is the space for a night that feels loose and outdoors without giving up structure.
The Great Room
If you want air conditioning, or you're planning for a bigger group, the Great Room is the indoor ballroom option. Round tables, gold chiavari-style chairs, colorful tile-inspired carpet underfoot, real event lighting.
Zona Azul Beach Club
Zona Azul is built for the after-party. Fire pits, wood slat privacy screens, lounge furniture, string lights at dusk. It's where the cocktail hour or late-night portion of the wedding naturally lands.
Wedding packages
W Costa Rica breaks wedding packages into a few tiers, from an intimate elopement package up through full receptions with open bar and multi-course dinners. Exact pricing shifts with the season, so I pull current numbers when we talk. What doesn't change: every package includes the ceremony setup, bridal hair and makeup, and a room upgrade for the couple when it's available.
