The Best All-Inclusive Resorts for Destination Weddings in 2026: My Top 10, Ranked

I've personally toured more than 300 resorts across 100 plus countries, and I've planned weddings at a large share of them. This list comes from those site inspections and from what my couples report back after the trip, not from a brochure or a booking-site star rating.

Mexico wins on flight access, guest pricing, and sheer venue variety. If your group is spread across the United States, this is usually the easiest region to fill rooms in.

2. Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Nothing else on this list keeps guests busy the way Xcaret does. Park access is included, so your guests have four days of activities without you planning a single excursion. 5. Dreams Jade. The value play. It sits about 25 minutes from the Cancun airport, so transfer costs stay low, and the pergola deck over the water is one of the prettiest ceremony spots in Puerto Morelos. See the Dreams Jade guide.

Punta Cana usually costs your guests a little less per night than the Riviera Maya, and the beaches in Cap Cana are some of the calmest in the Caribbean.

Jamaica gives you the shortest flight times from most of the eastern United States, plus a culture that shows up in the music, the food, and the staff. It suits couples who want the trip to feel like somewhere specific.

9. Sandals South Coast. Couples-only, with overwater chapel and bungalow options that nothing else on this list matches. The tradeoff is the drive from Montego Bay, so build that into your welcome-day timeline. See the Sandals South Coast guide.

Wedding package pricing gets all the attention, and it's the smaller number. The bigger number is what each guest pays per night, because that's what decides how many people show up.

Across these 10 properties, a group room night in shoulder season generally lands somewhere between the low $200s and the mid $400s per room, double occupancy, all-inclusive. Peak weeks in January through March run higher. Hurricane season in September and October runs lower.

Two levers move that number more than anything else.

If someone handed me a blank guest list and asked me to pick one resort, I'd pick Excellence Playa Mujeres. It does the boring things right, and the boring things are what your guests remember. The coordinators answer email, the dinner reservations exist when you show up, and the beach ceremony starts at the time printed on the program.

That said, I've talked more couples out of a resort than into one. The property that photographs best is rarely the property that fits your group. Start with your people, then pick the place.
